Paris 2024 Olympics Mollie O’Callaghan and Ariarne Titmus – July 2024

Congratulations Mollie O’Callaghan for winning Gold and Ariarne Titmus for winning Silver in the women’s 200m freestyle swimming at the Paris 2024 Olympics on 30th July! The race was so close, with Ariana leading much of the way, then in the final lap, Mollie pushed forward to lead with an Olympic record of 1:53.27, just half a second faster than Ariarne in second place at 1:53.81. When Mollie invited Ariarne up to share the gold at the podium as the national anthem played, I took this screenshot at the end. This was so exciting I had to capture it in my ‘Rainbow Bubbles of Collective Effervescence ByShi Portrait Style.’

Ariarne graduated from St Peters Lutheran College in 2018 and Molliegraduated 2022. I was forced to leave SPLC in grade 10 due to ME/CFS in 1995. I am feeling oh, so incredibly proud! Congratulations! Thank you for entertaining us and for all the hard work and dedication over your whole lifetimes. Sending gratitude, love and infinite light to Mollie and Ariarne!
