(I wanted to post this immediately when the election was called but I’ve been a bit overwhelmed. Better late than never!)
In November 2024 I designed a t-shirt to support my Federal Greens member, Elizabeth ‘Libby’ Watson Brown. As the recent cyclone warning and flooding showed, Libby and her amazing team work passionately to support the community of Ryan.
I am frustrated that due to severe ME/CFS, I am unable to join in on volunteering, going to community meals, door knocking, or attending functions, but Libby continues to encourage me, my artwork, and ME/CFS advocacy and has invited me to meet with her personally several times. Other Greens representatives: Michael Berkman, Jordon Steele John and Larissa Waters also have reached out and wholeheartedly support me. They all work hard to advocate and campaign for those struggling and to build a positive future for our community.
At the federal election I’ll be voting 1 Greens in the House of Representatives and the Senate. Go Libby Watson Brown and the Greens!
