Alisa Liu oozed flourishing, exuberant joy in the US figure skating team at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics Feb 17-19, 2026. This was her triumphant comeback after retiring from skating due to burnout. Now she skates on her own terms. She skates with passion not minding if she wins or not, yet she deservedly won gold. Her experience parallels my journey from burnout and a dark night of the soul, breaking through to a life of meaning; purpose; and flourishing, exuberant joy. It’s infectious!
