‘We are the light of the world… Heaven is within us,’ written 12/10/2026 by Shiloh Moore
Paraphrasing Jesus’ message –
From Matthew 5:14 KJV ‘You are the light of the world’
And Luke 17:21 KJV ‘The kingdom of God is within you’
– we all have divine light within us, and Heaven can be within us, in this lifetime.
When I’m most in pain due to fibromyalgia (which I’ve had since I was ten) I have been going to a realm out of body, where there is no pain. Recently when I was meditating, I began channelling my friends and people I care about – alive or passed – and going with them, too, to this other realm where there is no pain, illness, stress, discrimination, injustice, or suffering. We hang out in the present moment, just fully us, as our essences: without the suffering we are burdened with in this world. The peace I feel is heavenly – peace beyond understanding. Divine light within me radiates and comforts me. I send that peace to all who are suffering.
Sunflowers represent hidden disabilities. I chose a detailed macro photo I took of a sunflower flourishing, to symbolise awe that we have light within us, despite our hidden disabilities, despite – even because of – our flawed humanity.
